All
knowledge acquired through these courses will be “tested” in
the process of realization of the projects. The participants
will have the opportunity to benefit from the advice of mentors
who will be available ten days after the school finishes. These
projects will be treated as public and announced to the general
public, media, experts in the field of new media and the creators
of new media scene both in this country and abroad. The projects
developed in Small School will be carried out in collaboration
with institutions and individuals from all over the world interested
in this kind of activities. For example: Internet Audio Course
is being prepared and will be carried out together with Radio
Aqualia from Australia (one of the world’s best known experimental
audio programmes), Internet Video course will be realized with
the organizers of Radiator Festival – the festival of streaming
film and video held in (Nottingham, UK.)

The
schools resemble workshops. The work in them will be based on
the work with mentors. In each school ten participants can enrol
(two participants will be using one computer)

|
That
includes:
-Providing
the members of the local cultural scene, in the widest sense of that
word, with basic and advanced knowledge within the field of new media
through direct educational programmes. These programmes continue the
series of programmes organized in CybeRex since the beginning of 1998
till March 1999, when REX was closed down.
-Making the development
of the use of new media in art and culture possible.
-Introducing two, still
not very friendly, groups of people to one another – artists and “cultural
practitioners” belong to one side, operators and web masters to the
other.
